Starblast Chiffon Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus) - 2 Gallon Pot
Exceptionally easy to Exceptionally easy to grow and floriferous, Starblast Chiffon begins blooming earlier in the season and over a longer period of time through summer than other Rose of Sharon varieties. Beginning in late spring to early summer it features an abundance of exotic, hibiscus-like flowers with a single row of white petals streaked with hot raspberry-pink surrounding a cute, fluffy cluster of center petals. The flowers are backed by handsome rich green leaves on a shrub or small tree that might reach 10 to 12 feet tall and 6 to 8 feet wide when all grown up. To tree form this beauty, as it grows taller, simply remove lower branches to a desired height. I fine specimen or grouping in the landscape that will provide a tropical look and feel, Starblast Chiffon will always have you and the hummingbirds and butterflies looking forward to summer. Unlike tropical hibiscus you might see growing in frost-free climates such as south Florida, Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus) are cold hardy down to -20F as far north as USDA Zone 5a.and floriferous, the Starblast Chiffon begins blooming earlier in the season and for longer than other Rose of Sharon varieties. beginning in late spring to early summer it features an abundance of exotic, hibiscus-like flowers with a single row of white petals that are streaked like lightning with hot raspberry-pink surrounding a cute, fluffy cluster of center petals.
