The Strawberry Deluxe Coneflower is an absolutely adorable variety in the Double Scoop Echinacea series. It features abundant double flowers from late spring through summer above a mound of clean, dark green foliage. Deluxe varieties are more compact with better branching and produce more flowers than other double-flowered coneflowers. They bloom during their first year, and the flowers don't bleach out like other red varieties. The eye-catching flowers of Strawberry Deluxe are a glamorous dark red, with a lower ring of petals topped with a pom of smaller petals surrounding a very deep red to near black center.
