Meyer Lemon Tree (Citrus x meyeri) - 3 Gallon Pot
The Meyer Lemon Tree pleases in more ways than one. It produces clusters of very pretty fragrant white flowers and the fruits provide color and are edible as well. A self-fertile hybrid of a lemon and mandarin orange, the fruits are juicy and sweeter than typical lemons, which makes them a favorite for use in desserts and drinks. You only need one tree to produce fruits. Due to its smaller stature to 6 to 10 feet tall and 4 to 8 feet wide, smaller in containers, it can be grown in the ground or in containers year round outdoors in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 9 through11. North of Zone 9 it should be grown in a container that can be overwintered or grown year round indoors. Depending on the location, the tree blooms in spring or fall with wonderfully fragrant waxy white flowers. Following the flowers are the abundant green fruits that will become golden yellow when ripe and ready to pick and eat. Get all the details below
