A fantastic hardy subtropical shrub from the temperature regions of Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay, the Brazilian Bellfllower is easy to grow and thrives year round outdoors in the ground in USDA Zones 7b-11, which means it will handle cold temperatures to 10F. That said, when growing in pots it might only be cold hardy outdoors to Zone 8b and should be overwintered indoors when temperatures drop below 25F.
