One of our favorites from the University of Arkansas grape breeding program, 'Venus' is a blue-black seedless grape with absolutely incredible foxy-sweet flavor that is out of this world! Excellent for fresh eating, wine and juice. There's so many fine attributes it's hard to know where to start. Abundant, tight clusters of very large, attractive and delicious blue-black fruits are resistant to cracking in part because they ripen so early beginning in August to early September. A thicker skin makes Venus a fine selection for areas with hot and humid summers. The fruits ripen all at once on the vine which makes storing them convenient. Attractive foliage and beautifully colored fruits make Venus a fine selection for use as a climbing vine in the edible ornamental landscape. Get all the details below!
