Culver's Root Veronicastrum - 6 Pack of 1 Gallon Pots
Veronicatrum virginicum, commonly called Culver's Root, is a North American native perennial that will not go unnoticed in any garden or floral arrangement. It forms a bushy plant with upright stems clothed in attractive 6" lance-shaped dark green to blue-green leaves. In late spring to early summer, vertical, branching flower stems 18-24" tall are covered in tubular white flowers that the hummingbirds, butterflies, and pollinators will flock to. The sturdy flower stems are excellent for cutting and will last up to a week in a floral arrangement. The plant often blooms again in the fall if spent flower stems are cut off. Culver's Root is easy to grow with six or more hours of sunlight daily and in moist to occasionally wet soils, and its deep root system also makes it quite drought tolerant when established. It is one of those plants that always has you looking forward to its bloom! Get all the details below
