Sallyrosa April Night Salvia - 1 Gallon Pot
A petite and floriferous meadow sage that reaches about 14 inches tall and equally as wide, Sallyrosa April Night Salvia puts on a spectacular flower show beginning a month earlier in the season than other varieties. Clustered spikes packed with brilliant violet-blue flowers start opening in April in our gardens, hence the common name, and continue coming through mid summer. Pruning flowers stems after flowering encourages rebloom. The flower spikes rise from dense upright mounds of attractive lance shaped and crinkled mildew resistant dark green leaves. The flowers are a top favorite of hummingbirds, and the butterflies and beneficial pollinators will appreciate them as well. Also excellent for cut flowers. Give this one as much sun as possible in most any well-drained soil in gardens beds or containers and it is sure to please. Get all the details below
