Shady Acres Rosemary - 5 Pack of Quart Pots
Developed by Teresa Mieseler at Shady Acres Herb Farm in the great state of Minnesota, the Shady Acres Rosemary is considered by many to be the most flavorful of all Rosemary officinalis varieties. The superior savory flavor is because it doesn't flower much and uses its energy for foliage development. It is a robust grower with an upright, bushy habit 3 feet tall and as wide clothed in dark green leaves, making it a good choice for garden beds or containers, which can be overwintered indoors by gardeners north of USDA Zone 8. As with other rosemary, Shady Acres grows best in full sun; however, it will tolerate some shade. We suggest at least 5 hours of direct sunlight per day. Well-draining soil is a must. You might be happy to know that deer and rabbits turn their nose up to it, and it can be grown indoors year-round with sufficient light. A few feet within an east, west, or south-facing window should provide enough light, and keep the soil moist but not soggy. Get all the details below
