Rhododendrons

Is it a rhododendron or an azalea? Scientifically speaking, all azaleas are of the genus Rhododendron. In this category on the website we feature two different different types of Rhododendrons: the heat, humidity and cold tolerant Southgate Rhododendrons, which are the large-leaved evergreen rhododendrons most gardeners are familiar with, and the native azaleas, also known as deciduous rhododendrons. All rhododendrons produce magnificent flowers and are great for use in woodland borders and shady to partly shaded gardens, home foundation plantings, and landscape borders.
