Coleman's Native Azalea (Rhododendron colemanii 'Multiflora') - 3 Gallon Pot
An exceptionally rare and beautiful tetraploid Red Hills Azalea discovered in parts of Alabama and Georgia, the Coleman's Multiflora Native Azalea, scientifically known as Rhododendron colemanii, features clusters of sweetly fragrant trumpet-shape flowers in shades of white, pink or yellow that resemble those of honeysuckle. The fragrance is a wonderful lemon aroma. This species is more drought tolerant than most other native azaleas because it tends to grow in drier woodlands naturally. If conditions are favorable, due to its stoloniferous nature you might end up with a colony. Growing 6 to 8 feet tall and maybe as wide over time, this species does best in part shade with average to dry soils. A natural beauty that will delight the senses with both its beauty and intoxicating perfume! Get all the details below
