Hedge
By our definition, a hedge is typically more formal and lower in height than a privacy screen. By our definition, a privacy screen is typically less formal and taller in height than a hedge. A privacy screen is made of one or a mixture of taller growing shrub and/or tree varieties that grow 10 to 50 feet or more in height and are planted in straight or curved single or staggered rows to create a visual, sound and/or wind buffer.
