This is the poodle tier topiary form of the Maki Podocarpus Yew, an upright growing Podocarpus that provides a unique and distinctive texture all its own in the landscape. Maki is a slower-growing version of the species with a very dense, columnar form. As a topiary it might reach 6 to 8 feet tall and 2 feet wide when pruned once or twice a year for shaping purposes.
