Inverleith Scotch Pine - 1 Gallon Pot
Discovered in the Royal Botanical Garden in Edinburgh, Scotland, the Inverleith Scotch Pine is truly a glowing beauty, which is why it's also commonly called the Ghost Pine. Reason being, its creamy white and blue-green variegated needles give it that ghost-ish appearance. If you're afraid of ghosts, it could be said that it has a Frosty the Snowman look:-) Cool thing is, it retains its color year round, and even its candles in spring are white. Very low maintenance, drought tolerant and easy to grow, Inverleith forms a dense pyramid to 25 feet tall and 12 feet wide at its base...maybe taller and wider in optimum conditions...so give this one ample space to grow in a sunny to partially shaded environment. Extremely cold hardy to -50F, but not as heat tolerant, gardeners in zones 2a-7b can enjoy this beauty. Get all the details below
