Haven't had space for a beautiful Pieris in you small garden? Meet 'Cavatine', a much smaller growing selection that forms a dense and attractive mound 2 to 2.5 feet tall and equally as wide, and is absolutely fantastic both in and out of bloom. In spring, the handsome, leathery, deep evergreen green foliage becomes covered with chained clusters of lightly fragrant, longer-lasting, bell shaped white flowers. Immediately following the bloom are striking scarlet new leaves, which we think are as attractive as the flowers. This diminutive beauty is excellent for garden beds or containers situated in sun to part shade. That said, we think Pieris performs and just looks better with some shade or filtered sun during the afternoon. Get all the details below!
