Cherry Valley European Larch Tree - 1 Gallon Pot
Larix decidua 'Cherry Valley' is a compact European Larch tree reaching maybe 14 to 16 feet tall and 7 to 8 feet wide when all grown up. It forms a pyramid with ascending branches clothed in soft-textured, fuzzy-looking clusters of light green needles in spring and summer that turn to a glowing golden orange with the arrival of cooler temperatures in fall. A deciduous conifer, the leaves will drop for winter, showing off the handsome, tan branches. Unlike some other Larch varieties that won't tolerate soggy soil, Cherry Valley actually prefers a moist to wet soil. A fine focal point specimen in smaller sunny landscape borders, home foundation plantings, garden beds, and around outdoor sitting and living spaces, where it is sure to be a conversation piece.
