A self-fertile and cold hardy Kiwi vine, 'Jenny' has survived temperatures down to zero degrees Fahrenheit, and is heat and humidity hardy down to Zone 9 in central Florida. She produces loads of exotic looking fragrant flowers in spring that are followed in late summer by sweet-tart, fuzzy brown fruits that are lime green on the inside. The fruits have eight times more vitamin C than oranges and contain 20% natural sugar for outstanding sweetness. Lush, tropical looking foliage on vigorous vines that can reach 20 feet in length or height, and containing up to 100 pounds of fruit on a single mature vine, will require support. A sturdy structure with metal posts or 4" x 4" wood posts is suggested. If you are looking for an exceptionally attractive and edible vine to grow over a pergola or other overhead structure it doesn't get much better than the Jenny Kiwi. Get all the details below!
