With 31 varieties of different Encore Azalea colors, sizes and shapes to choose from there are endless possibilities. When there are endless design possibilities, design by color!
Encore Azaleas offer many color choices that can be mixed and matched as quick as one, two or three using our suggestions below. But don't feel you can't deviate from our suggested companions as they are just combinations we like and have used in our own gardens. Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder!
When it comes to mixing Encore Azalea colors, we suggest mixing different shades of the same color for a subtle effect or mixing darker and lighter colors together for a more dramatic effect. Keep in mind that lighter colors look best against a darker background while darker colors look best against a light back ground.
Consider size as well. You can mix Encore Azalea varieties that grow the same size or mix heights for more dimension. You can mix bloom types (single, semi-double) and/or or bloom sizes. Whatever you want, it's your creation and you can't go wrong with sun-loving, repeat-blooming Encore Azaleas!
