She is cross hybrid of Daphne bholua, a winter bloomer with sweet and intense baby powder fragrance, and Daphne odora, a late winter to spring bloomer with its incredible sweet and tropical fragrance. Her size and habit are most like Daphne odora, growing to around 3 feet tall and wide. From mid winter to mid or late spring, abundant clusters of deep purple-pink buds open to highly fragrant soft pink flowers that age to white, standing out beautifully against the dense mound of elongated, pointed, rich green evergreen leaves. The flowers form not only at the branch tips but down along the stems as well, and they have the unmistakable heavenly Daphne fragrance with sweet citrus undertones.
