Vilmorin's Dwarf Cryptomeria (Japanese Cedar) - 1 Gallon Pot
Named for Philip De Vilmorin, a Frenchman who discovered this gem in Japan in 1904, Vilmorin's Dwarf Cryptomeria, commonly called Japanese Cedar, is a captivating little evergreen that forms a globe to 3 feet tall and equally as wide when all grown up. Its smaller stature makes it a perfect fit as an accent in small garden spaces or in containers, where its a good candidate for bonsai. Also nice in groupings or as a low hedge where space is limited and looks especially nice around rocks and boulders. It features fuzzy olive-green foliage that turns to bronzy orange during winter, which gives it year round appeal in the garden. Easy to grow and low-maintenance, the color, feel and form of this Japanese Cedar makes it an extra special addition to any sunny to lightly shaded garden. Get all the details below
