A pink version of the American Yellowwood, 'Perkins Pink' is a lovely North American native shade tree that provides year-round interest in the landscape with foliage, flowers, fragrance, bark, and form. Reaching up to 45 feet tall and equally as wide, it has an open, graceful, spreading crown. After the attractive green leaves have emerged, abundant and gorgeous hanging flower panicles, resembling those of wisteria, are loaded with fragrant pink flowers in late spring to early summer.
