Beacon Hill Weeping Cedar of Lebanon - 1 Gallon Pot
A captivating evergreen conifer native to Turkey and surrounding areas, 'Beacon Hill' is a weeping version of the Cedar of Lebanon. Some say there is no other cedar that weeps as gracefully as Beacon Hill, and we're inclined to agree. You decide the form and height. If left to grow naturally its trunk and branches may meander, or it can be trained to grow more upright and narrow with the use of a single stake. A fast grower that can reach 12 to 15 feet tall and several feet wide at 10 years of age and double that over time if staked, its branches gently reach out and downward with pendulous twigs hanging straight down. The new foliage is a light-green hue maturing to a darker green to blue-green. Erect green cones maturing to a light purplish-brown seed cones add extra ornamental value and appeal. A fascinating beauty in rock or conifer gardens, home foundation plantings, or anywhere in the sunny landscape you want an outstanding focal point that doesn't require a lot of space.
