The Pyramidal European Hornbeam Tree is an exceptionally distinctive and stately tree displaying a narrow, columnar form in youth becoming more pyramidal to tear drop shaped with age maturing to 40 feet tall and 25 to 30 feet wide. The ovate, pointed and toothed dark green leaves are clean and attractive throughout the growing season turning to yellow with the arrival of cooler temperatures in fall.
