Landscape & Garden Uses

Growing 15 to 20 feet tall by 6 to 8 feet wide at maturity with an irregular weeping habit, the Weeping Temple Juniper is ideal for use as a focal point specimen in sunny landscape borders and also to frame the corners of tall homes or entryways. very nice in pots, planters and other containers. Responds well to pruning for topiary. Looks especially nice around garden ponds and other bodies of water and is a fine addition to the conifer garden, rock garden and the Xeriscape (low water needs).

Suggested Spacing: 16 feet or more apart for space between plants

Cultural Preferences

The Weeping Temple Juniper is easy to grow in most any moist but well-drained soil of average fertility and full sun to mostly sun. Constantly soggy or wet soil can be problematic. Exceptionally low maintenance and drought tolerant when established. No pruning is necessary, however can be trained to various shapes for topiary.
