Nitroganic Organic Fertilizer

Available in 36 pound bags

Nitroganic is an all natural slow-release fertilizer that is "goof proof," meaning it will not burn your plants, even if you accidentally dumped a large amount around a plant. Rather than force feeding and stimulating over-accelerated foliage growth that can weaken a plant, Nitroganic feeds the soil and allows your plants to take up nutrients as they need them to support growth.

Because it's organic, the nutrients in Nitroganic are much more readily available to plants than synthetic fertilizers. Nitroganic will greatly improve the overall health and beauty of all plants, trees, and shrubs. We use it on all our outdoor plants, including container gardens, and even the lawn. It's all natural and organic so is also great for use in the vegetable garden!

What's more, Nitroganic has proven to be a safe and natural deer and rabbit deterrent. Using it regularly to feed the plants in your landscape and gardens will help keep these pests away for approximately 4-6 weeks.

By routinely feeding your plants with Nitroganic you'll also be feeding and conditioning your soil with rich, beneficial organic matter. In doing so, you'll find that you can grow healthier, better looking plants that have fewer insect and disease problems!

SHRUBS & TREES

New Trees and Shrubs:  Prior to planting a shrub, mix 1/2 pound Nitroganic per foot of plant height with soil removed from planting hole. Prior to planting a tree, mix 2 pounds Nitroganic for every 5 foot of tree height with soil removed from planting hole.

Established Shrubs:  In early spring, early summer, and again in early fall, apply 1/2 pound Nitroganic per every foot of shrub height or apply 5 pounds per 100 square or linear feet. Spread evenly over soil, work into top 1-inch of soil if possible, or rake back and put beneath mulch.

Established Trees:  In early spring, early summer, and again in early fall, broadcast 5 pounds per inch of trunk diameter around the drip line (perimeter of canopy) Alternatively, you can pour Nitroganic into holes 1" wide and 12" deep. Space these holes 2 feet apart around the drip line and 2 feet beyond the drip line for every 10 feet of tree height. For example, if your tree is 20 feet tall, the holes should be 3 o 4 feet beyond the drip line.
