Special Attributes

'Mojo' Pittosporum is a low and mounding evergreen shrub sporting glossy, variegated green leaves that have a creamy yellow border. All grown up Mojo will reach 2 to 3 feet in height with about a 3 foot spread. Inconspicuous, creamy white flowers with a fragrance reminiscent of orange blossoms are produced in late spring.

Landscape & Garden Uses

Growing in a dense mound 2 to 3 feet tall and 3 feet or more wide, Mojo Pittosporum is ideal for use as an accent in smaller garden spaces or in groupings, mass plantings, or as a border or low hedge in larger landscape borders and home foundation plantings. Excellent salt tolerance makes it a perfect choice for use in coastal gardens. A fine addition to Asian gardens, fragrance & sensory gardens, rock gardens, tropical look gardens and the Xeriscape (low water needs).

Cultural Preferences

Mojo Pittosporum is very easy to grow in most any well-drained loose soils and full sun to partial shade. It will need some moisture when young but is exceptionally heat and drought tolerant when established. No pruning is necessary to keep the plants dense form. No pruning is necessary, however can be pruned to shape or control size.
