Cherokee Princess Dogwood Tree
Cornus florida  'Rutgan'

Covered in gorgeous 3-5" wide white flowers, Cherokee Princess Dogwood will light up your garden in spring. The foliage is rich green until fall when it puts on another spectacular show of color with it's leaves turning red to purple-red on top and hues of silver underneath giving a unique bi-color effect. For an even more spectacular springtime show, include the Stellar Pink Dogwood tree (pink) to your garden. The wonderful white and pink flower combination is an amazing sight to see!

Plant your dogwood tree in average, well drained, medium moist soil. Drainage is the key to having success with your Dogwood tree as consistently soggy soils can result in root rot. Learn more about how to plant your Dogwood tree under the PLANTING tab Above. Prefers morning sun or filtered sun. Avoid prolonged periods of direct sun during the afternoon. It is hardy in USDA Zones 5a-9b. Find Your Zone >
