Lady Vansittart Camellia Japonica
Camellia japonica 'Lady Vansittart'

Lady Vansittart is one of the most impressive Camellia on the market today. A true garden jewel! This dazzling Lady is known to throw many different sports on the same plant. The double flowers are often white or soft pink but striped, speckled or splashed with varying colors in different patterns on the petals. We've counted over 6 different color patterns and variations on the same plant!

Camellia prefer a well-drained acidic soil that is rich in organic matter. Constantly soggy soil is a slow killer. In general, Camellia grows and blooms better in partial shade with shelter from hot afternoon sun. Morning sun with afternoon shade or filtered sunlight is perfect. All-day filtered sun is fine.
